WiseGirl Essentials came about when I decided to create something for little girls and women that look like me. I would see journals and books that would have pretty covers, but nothing that I can relate to. I kept thinking to myself, what about us? So I started creating notebooks, journals and my self published book, “Beautiful Black” to empower black women, reminding them that their hair is a work of art and a source of strength.
