Get to know us
WiseGirl Essentials came about when I decided to create something for little girls and women who look like me. I would see journals and books with pretty covers, but nothing that I can relate to. I kept thinking to myself, what about us? So I started creating notebooks, journals and my self-published book, “Beautiful Black,” to empower black women, reminding them that their hair is a work of art and a source of strength. It is a brand that celebrates the diversity and beauty of black women, encouraging self-love and self-expression. With each journal and notebook, WiseGirl Essentials aims to provide a platform for black women to embrace their natural hair, celebrate their unique stories, and leave a legacy of empowerment for generations.
